Never Alone... by, LGED

A lonely figure,
Stands by his grave.
Black clouds in the sky,
Pierced by her gaze.
"I miss you" she says,
Doubting he hears.
Rain drops fall from the sky,
And mix with her tears.
She longs for his touch,
Hands caress her pale skin.
Her heart has broken
Soul empty within.
She falls to her knees,
Screams "HOW CAN THIS BE!?"
"I loved him so much,"
"And you took him from me!"
Blood trickles from her hand,
Her fist clenched to a rose.
Suddenly the rain stops,
And she sees the moon’s glow.
She stands to her feet,
Dries her face on her sleeve.
Sets the rose by his headstone,
And wipes the dirt from her knees.
She hears his voice,
Responds "I love you too"
A smile breaks on her lips,
And she says her adieus.
